Birth Rate is Decreasing

The birth rate of Russia is decreasing as seen in the above chart.* The other developed nations in the chart are also experiencing a decreasing birth rate. However, the other nations are decreasing at a controlled rate in contrast to Russia's drastic decline.

The decreasing birth rate by itself is not a population problem and it is actually considered an improvement in today's overcrowded world, but in combination with a decreasing birth rate, a serious problem is created.
