Greetings. I am a professor of theatre at the University of South Dakota where I have been teaching acting and directing and serving the Department of Theatre as managing producer since 1987. Major responsibilities include coordinating the graduate (MFA) program in directing and teaching courses in acting, directing, stage management, and stage combat. My research interests include:

• The study of viewpoint theory and its application to training actors and directors;
• The study of stage combat and tai chi and their application to performance;
• The study of how time and space function in plays, particularly those of August Strindberg.
