Instructions: In the MOO instructions below, don't type the brackets. Always replace the bracketed text with your own words. You should always press the return or enter key after issuing a command in the MOO. For example, to speak, you would type say and your words and then press the return/enter key. See below:
To talk (so that anyone present in the same room can hear), type:say [text]
and press the return (enter) key.
say [text] To talk (so that anyone present in the same room can hear).
to [name] [text] To talk to a specific person in the same room as you.
mu [name] [text] To whisper (murmur) to someone in the same room as you.
page [name] [text] To speak privately with someone anywhere in the MOO.
emote [text] To express emotions or show actions.
think [text] To show your thoughts (in tiny cartoon-type bubbles).
@describe me as [text] To create or change a description of yourself.
look me To see your description.
look [name of person or object] To look at someone else or to look at an object.
@gender female OR @gender male To set your gender.
@quit To quit out of the MOO.
bigs [text] To make a big sign.
All objects can be looked at. LOOK is one command related to objects; you can also examine objects.
@exam [object] To examine an object (and see the commands that are associated with that object).
smell [object] To smell an object.
ways If you're ready to begin walking around the MOO.
n (or s, e, w) To go a particular direction--for example, north (n).
@go [name of room] To go to a particular room.
In MOO mail, enter a subject line and press the return (enter) key.@next To read new MOOmail that you've received.say [text] To enter text.
Note: You enter text as if you were speaking in a room.
send When you're done typing a MOOmail message.
@reply To reply to a MOOmail message.
