Special Instructions for Some Sites

(For students enrolled in ENGL 101-RDTN at the University of South Dakota)

Important Address Information

For Wednesday, October 15: Essay #2, Draft #2 due, along with the next set of Hacker grammar exercises.
All site facilitators, MAIL a copy of each student's essay and Hacker Grammar Exercises #2 to me. (Please put the essays and exercises in separate piles.) Students should keep copies of essay drafts for themselves, since the copies mailed to me will not be returned. (Hacker exercises will be returned graded.)

Site facilitators/students: if you haven't already done so, print the peer revision (2.2) form.

Special instructions to sites: David Hindle from Freeman, Naomi Petrik from Andes Central, and Sarah Sterrett from Wessington Springs should fax copies of their essays to each other no later than 9:30 a.m. the day of peer revision. Complete peer revision a.s.a.p.; annotated essays and filled-out peer revision forms should be faxed back to the writers no later than 3:00 p.m.

Henry, DeSmet, and Bonesteel-Fairfax: fax your essays to each other no later than 8:30 a.m. the day of peer revision (don't fax essays to Vermillion). You should complete peer revision a.s.a.p.; then site facilitators should fax the annotated essays and filled-out peer revision forms to the writers no later than 3:00 p.m.

Each student should respond to at least two essays.

To repeat: for all sites listed above, after peer revision is complete, peer-revised (annotated) second drafts and filled-out peer revision sheets should be faxed back to the writers of those essays; these materials will eventually be placed in the folders they submit with their final drafts.
