     A Distant Mirror: The Calamitous 14th Century by Tuchman
          5 maps, 40 pages of illustrations, 629 pages plus

          A 1910 Harvard Classics edition which includes:
            The Chronicles of Froissart by G. C. Macauly
              A translation of the French chronicler Jean Froissant
              (1337-1410).  Campaigns, battles and rebellions.
            The Holy Grail by Sir Thomas Malory from the Caxton
               edition of The Morte D'Arthur.
            A Description of Elizabethan England written by William
               Harrison for Holinshed's Chronicles.  Chapters cover
               individual topics, i.e., food, apparel, gardens, etc.

     Are We There Yet?  The Northshield Roadkill Singbook.
          Beginning with a song of The Dream, followed by diverse
          Rounds and Ballads, Songs of War, Love and Drink, Dalliance,
          Bawdry and Silliness, and concluding with a large number 
          of verses to Olde Tyme Religion, including several verses
          never before seen in an collection, and ending as is
          fitting and traditional with The Parting Glass.

     The Compleat Anachronist is a series of pamphlets printed by the
     Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.  Each issue concentrates on
     a specific topic and serves as a valuable starting point for 
     further research.  Most issues contain bibliographies and resource
     listings for additional study.

     Back issues of The Compleat Anachronist are available for $4 each.
     A subscription to the series is $8.00 per year for SCA members.
